For guests who can pull themselves from the oasis of Castle Hot Springs, an aerial tour of Sedona and an afternoon on one of Arizona’s most celebrated vineyards awaits.
Your journey begins with a helicopter departure from the resort toward Sedona’s iconic red rock landscapes for a 60 minute tour. From the air, take in renowned landmarks such as Cathedral Rock and Devil's Bridge as you soar above terrain unlike anywhere else in the Southwest.
You’ll then land at the award winning, D.A. Ranch Estate Vineyards, nestled within the Verde Valley for a few hours. To enjoy a private vineyard experience led by a knowledgable host, who will guide you through the property and share the story behind this exceptional estate and all things wine.
After your tour, the exclusive tasting experience begins featuring curated estate wines and charcuterie. Chose the private upstairs members lounge, or to unwind outdoors on the wraparound porch with sweeping vineyard views. Weekend guests may also have the opportunity to experience seasonal food trucks and live music, adding an extra touch of energy to an already unforgettable escape.

Castle Hot Springs Transports
Arrive for your luxury vacation efficiently and in style via helicopter. Depart from Western Sky Helicopters in the Scottsdale Airpark or Phoenix Sky Harbor and land right on the grounds of Castle Hot Springs resort. Pricing includes round trip transport on both your check in and check out days of your stay. Transports from other locations available at an additional charge, based on pick up airport and FBO landing charge. Luggage that does not fit in helicopter may be transported by ground for an additional charge.
For those looking for a bit more scenery during the transport, turn your 20 minute transport into a 50 minute adventure by adding a tour! On the way out, we will add some city sites, as well as a border view of the Sonoran Desert, mountains and lakes before your arrival, or after your departure from Castle Hot Springs.

Castle Hot Springs Surrounding Areas Tour
Embark on an exhilarating helicopter tour, departing right from the Castle Hot Springs property! Enjoy a stunning bird’s eye view of the Resort’s hot springs, pool, farm and lush grounds. As we climb, take in this unbelievable setting and the grandeur of the Bradshaw Mountains. Next view the expanse of water that is Lake Pleasant Regional Park as we fly directly over one of the most scenic areas of the Valley of the Sun - that provides a plethora of recreational opportunities.
We will then head east to the Black Mesa Ruins, part of the Agua Fria National Monument, to see the Hohokam tribe’s” fortified hilltops”, built between 800-100 AD. As we soar over the top of Table Mesa, experience the magnificent Sonoran Desert, with views of the White Tanks, Estrella and McDowell Mountain ranges. On our extended area tour, enjoy the sites of Four Peaks, Camelback Mountain, Seven Springs, the Verde River and more!

Castle Hot Springs to Sedona Tour
As we depart the luxurious Castle Hot Springs property, take in the exhilarating view of the resort’s lush grounds, farm, pool and natural hot springs. As we travel north, take in the stunning sites of Lake Pleasant, the Bradshaw Mountains and nearby Native American Ruins. On this extended tour you will see the beautiful sites of the Verde Valley and on a clear day you can see the San Francisco Peaks all the way in Flagstaff.
As you come into the Sedona area, prepare to have your breath taken away as you take in the stunning sites of the red rocks. You will see world famous sites like Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Courthouse Buttes, Oak Creek Canyon, the Chapel of the Holy Cross and much more!

Luggage Ground Transport
In the case where luggage exceeds capacity for the helicopter, ground transport can be arranged for an additional fee.
Pre-flight Requirements
All flights based on using the Robinson R66 (turbine engine helicopter). Maximum passenger capacity is 4 passengers, single seat weight limit is 300 pounds and the total combined passenger and baggage weight cannot exceed 800 pounds. All flights are exclusive, no combined groups.
Tour Availabilty
Vines and Vistas, Castle Hot Springs and Surrounding Area Tour and Castle Hot Springs to Sedona Tour are only available to guests staying at Castle Hot Springs Resort.
