ITINERARY
Find Your Own Desert Oasis
First, you will arrive at the Scottsdale Airpark and receive a safety briefing from your FAA-certified pilot. From there, we take to the skies in the state-of-the-art Robinson R44, Raven II helicopter! The vast amount of water we pass may surprise you. Your pilot will point out a number of natural landmarks, including Bartlett Lake, Horseshoe Lake, and Seven Springs. Check out the city of Cave Creek and behold the imposing silhouette of Black Mountain. We’ll also take you to Verde River which is packed with herds of wild horses. Try to spot other local wildlife, such as desert deer, javelinas, and coyotes. Fountain Hills is another one of our favorites! If you’re lucky, you can see its massive fountain that used to be the tallest in the world (although it may look smaller from where you’re sitting!).
In the 60-minute tour, you’ll see even more mountains and lakes! Soar past Apache, Canyon, and Saguaro Lakes. Catch a glimpse of Superstition Mountain with its volcanic cliffs jutting straight into the sky. Here, your pilot will tell you the story of the famed Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine. If you see any treasure, be sure to let us know! You’ll also spot the Goldfield Mountains, which are often overlooked due to their proximity to the Superstition Mountains.
